Powerquest

Powerquest were conceived in March 2001 by keyboardist Steve Williams after leaving London power metal heroes Dragon Heart, who are now the very well known Dragon Force. With fellow band mate Steve Scott (also ex-Dragon Heart) on board as bass man, the band was started. With an already reliable fan base, Powerquest landed an exclusive tour support position with the legendary German veterans Helloween and the future was paved before them.

The response from their touring was so massive and success surely followed, touring with Pagan's Mind. 2007 also saw Power Quest touring Europe with Firewind and Angra. With a new album out and a seasoned line-up producing epic live performance after live performance, Powerquest are power metal at it's finest and not to be missed.

About the venue

The Asylum is Birmingham's newest and finest independent live music venue. Purpose built, with a capacity of 450, The Asylum has been designed and built by musicians, with musicians in mind. Keeping it independent, the venue is managed and run on a daily basis by Roy and Jaci Davis, who are already well respected and known in the Birmingham music scene for their high quality rehearsal and studio rooms at the Mad House.

Boasting two bars, served by friendly staff, dressed to the theme of a medical institution, The Asylum venue is far from crazy. To put it simply, it id the way forward in the field of the live gig experience.
